The Employee Training Video

The Employee Training Video is a conceptual storytelling project that explores the tension between structure and unease within a familiar corporate framework. Presented as a fictional training sequence, the piece uses pacing, humor, and atmosphere to gradually shift tone; transforming the ordinary into something subtly ridiculous. It reflects a broader interest in narrative experimentation and the creation of immersive, unconventional worlds.

The film was made using a mix of 2d animation and AE compositing. An homage to Ren and Stimpy and SpongeBob golden age of Nick Cartoons.

The characters were mainly animated using the Procreate Animation to allow that original hand drawn pencil feel. The stretch and squash and extreme expressions are part of what makes the 90’s cartoons era look.
